Address /Alternate Shipping Address & Information Verification Policy

Address verification is a precautionary measure we take to ensure your safety and prevent fraud. Phone and online shopping does not allow us to request traditional forms of identification, e.g. a driver’s license, like a standard walk-in retail outlet. Instead we conduct address verification though our merchant services and/or your credit/debit card issuer to confirm your identity and verify the validity of your purchase, thereby ultimately protecting your credit. Orders with different Bill to and Ship to addresses may experience delayed processing, dependent upon the amount of time required to verify the validity of information provided.

Both your billing and shipping addresses are verified before an order ships. If you would like to ship to an address other than your billing address, it is best to contact your card issuing bank and have your shipping address added as an alternate shipping address to your card. Simply let the card issuer know that you are placing a phone/online order and the retailer needs to verify the address before shipment to eliminate the possibility of fraudulent activity.

Information Verification & Suspected Fraud

During our verification process, we may contact you via telephone or email . We may also contact the credit card company, issuing bank or obtain additional information from third-party sources. If the information provided does not coincide with information on file, if you do not respond to our emails messages regarding pending order, or there is reason to believe that the card is being used fraudulently, we will cancel the order immediately and request that it be re- entered using verifiable information.

If you have reason to believe that your card may have been used fraudulently for purchase of merchandise from singularitycomputers.com, please contact us directly and we will work with you to verify the validity of a charge and if necessary, assist in the process of reporting fraud to your Credit Card issuer.

If it is determined that customer information is being used fraudulently, we will cooperate to the fullest extent with law enforcement agencies.

Products & Custom Components Warranty Policy

All Singularity Computers products have a 2 year warranty from the purchase date. Only products with a manufacturing fault will be replaced. Customers need to provide the purchase invoice and photos of the issue. We may replace the entire product or the faulty part. We will usually not request a return unless the circumstances are unusual. We provide lifetime support for all products.

Products & Customs Components Return and Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at Singularity Computers.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. A refund and/or return is only possible if you experience a fault which falls under our warranty policy. We will request a clear explanation and photos. Usually a partial component replacement will be possible to prevent too much downtime for the customer.

Refunds due to a change of mind, shipping delays or any other reason are up to the discretion of Singularity Computers.

As of April 1st 2020, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, all shipping carriers have suspended all money-back guarantees. Delays are also possible. We cannot provide refunds for late shipments. We apologise for any inconvenience.

This refund policy does not apply to pre-orders.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores on your device when you visit, typically containing information about the website itself, a unique identifier that allows the site to recognise your web browser when you return, additional data that serves the purpose of the cookie, and the lifespan of the cookie itself.

Cookies are used to enable certain features (eg. logging in), to track site usage (eg. analytics), to store your user settings (eg. timezone, notification preferences), and to personalise your content (eg. advertising, language).

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are normally referred to as “first-party cookies”, and typically only track your activity on that particular site. Cookies set by other sites and companies (ie. third parties) are called “third-party cookies”, and can be used to track you on other websites that use the same third-party service.

Performance cookies

Performance cookies are used in the tracking of how you use a website during your visit, without collecting personal information about you. Typically, this information is anonymous and aggregated with information tracked across all site users, to help companies understand visitor usage patterns, identify and diagnose problems or errors their users may encounter, and make better strategic decisions in improving their audience’s overall website experience. These cookies may be set by the website you’re visiting (first-party) or by third-party services. We use performance cookies on our site.

Targeting/advertising cookies

Targeting/advertising cookies are used in determining what promotional content is more relevant and appropriate to you and your interests. Websites may use them to deliver targeted advertising or to limit the number of times you see an advertisement. This helps companies improve the effectiveness of their campaigns and the quality of content presented to you. These cookies may be set by the website you’re visiting (first-party) or by third-party services. Targeting/advertising cookies set by third-parties may be used to track you on other websites that use the same third-party service. We use targeting/advertising cookies on our site.
