We have completed our modifications to the 4090 Matrix to remove the AIO and allow custom water-cooling. The method we used maintained as much of the original components as possible so that it is reversable. We saw a significant improvement in temperatures although we wont post results because the test scenario was not ideal.
Hi, looking to add one of these to my current loop setup, I have 2 x Triple radiators, looking to plumb this in to my existing syrup. How did you put those connectors on?
Hey Joe.
We managed to fit tube into the existing pump top inside of the water-block by adding some custom gaskets. We held the tube against the gaskets by using the existing clamping section on the water-block.
We would need to make a detailed guide video to properly explain it. The process took a few hours but aside from the custom gaskets no other custom parts had to be made.
Some small modification had to be done to the internal components but the process is reversible.
Thanks.
